Down-right Arrow Emoji

The down-right arrow (↘️) is ↗️'s evil twin — the decline arrow. Where ↗️ means growth, ↘️ means things are going the wrong way. In charts, a line going down and to the right signals declining revenue, falling engagement, losing momentum. Nobody wants to see ↘️ in a quarterly report. In social media, it appears in finance and crypto crash commentary, "this is going downhill" posts, and literal southeast direction references. It's one of the least-used directional arrows because nobody wants to announce bad news with an emoji.

↘️ shows up in negative-trend content: stock crashes, crypto dips, declining follower counts, and "things are getting worse" commentary. It's the arrow you use when you want to be specific about the direction of a decline — more precise than ⬇️ (just down) because the rightward trajectory implies time passing while things worsen. Financial Twitter and crypto communities use it the most.
